Murrah breed 

Murrah is the most profitable breed of buffalo. Buffaloes of the Murrah species are mostly found in the northern parts of India. Murrah items are also traded for the higher method. Traders charge high prices for Murrah items. Buffalo rearing is a good source of income for farmers and small families.

Murrah breed cows are a good breed for milk production. Murrah cows have good fat milk.

About 20-35 Ltr of milk can be obtained in a day. A Murrah buffalo weighs around male 750Kg female 650Kg.Murrah buffaloes are black and large in body. They are not violent. That is why anyone can raise and take care of them.
